Terms & Conditions

When booking in with me you agree with the following terms and conditions:

• It is not allowed to bring someone to your tattoo appointment.

• A deposit is necessary to book the appointment. Deposits start from 50 euros and will be bigger for large scale work or big tattoos. For large scale work the deposit will be deducted from the remaining amount during the very last appointment. Deposits are never refundable.

• If you reschedule or cancel your appointment within 48 hours before the appointment you will lose your down-payment and priority in my agenda. If you would like to reschedule you will have to make another down-payment. Anywhere before 48 hours is free of charge with a maximum of 1 reschedule. Info on how to reschedule can be found in the ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section.

• For large tattoos from 30cm and up the sketch will be shown to you through email two to one day before the (first) appointment. This way you get a preview and your feedback is still easy to process. If you want to adjust the design please do not draw on the drawing, but instead tell about changes you want to see. The finalized design will be shown on the day of your appointment.

In all cases changes are possible up to the last moment before tattooing.

• I do not give permission to adjust my design. If you want to see changes in your design you can tell me so I can adjust it myself. I especially do not give permission to alter my design with AI. Altering the design, especially with AI, may result in your appointment being cancelled. Your deposit will not be valid any longer.

• I do not wish to receive examples of AI tattoos or placements. A big part of my creative process is to create something that suits you with our communication in mind. AI has no place in this. AI examples will not be looked at or taken into account while making a design.

Frequently asked questions

  • It all starts with your idea! Reach out to me by filling in my contact form under ‘tattoos’ in the menu above, or send me an email with the necessary information. To make an appointment, a deposit of a minimum of 50 euros is required. For large tattoos and big scale projects the deposit is higher. The deposit will be deducted from the remaining price during the last appointment of the project.

    Deposits are never refundable.
    Once it’s paid, it’s meant to go towards the reserved spot for the appointment and the time it takes to make your design.

  • Of course, life happens and sometimes your day doesn’t go according to plan. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please let me know by sending me an email at vagabond.tattooer@gmail.com

  • The design process and time it takes for me to make you a custom design varies based on size, placement and preference. For handsize tattoos and smaller you will get to see the design during the appointment.

    For large tattoos from 30cm and up the sketch will be shown to you through email two to one day before the (first) appointment. This way you get a preview and your feedback is still easy to process. The actual design will be shown on the day of your appointment.

    In all cases changes are possible up to the last moment before we start tattooing.

  • Absolutely! I’m Dutch too. I just communicate in English on my website and social media so I can be inclusive towards all my clients.

  • I prefer working one on one with my clients, to make sure we have clear communication without distractions. Because I work in my own private studio it is not possible to take someone with you to the appointment. I will make sure that your visit will be as comfortable as possible.

  • You have to be at least 18 years old to get tattooed by me.

  • Different styles require different aftercare instructions. To read yours, please visit the ‘aftercare’ page in the menu above. For specific questions, feel free to reach out.

  • If your tattoo needs a touch-up, please plan an appointment within after six weeks after the initial tattoo appointment. A touch-up is free of charge within one year after getting the tattoo.

    If a touch-up is needed due to bad healing because you didn't follow up my aftercare instructions, an amount of min. €50 will be charged. This means not following aftercare instructions such as exposing your healing tattoo to sunlight, scratching or soaking the tattoo, using wrong aftercare products or other external factors which resulted in bad healing. If you notice the tattoo isn't healing well please message me immediately so I can assist you through the healing process.

  • My private studio is located in Tilburg and is a 10 - 15 minute walk from the central station. Wanna come by bus? Navigate to busstops ‘Wilhelminapark’ or ‘Goirkestraat’. The exact address of the studio will be communicated by email during the booking process.

  • The studio is located on the second floor and is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair. If this is a challenge, make sure to note this while booking in so I can see if I can book our appointment elsewhere, for example during a guest spot.
